Useful information for your stay

Check‑in and Check‑out
As we do not have a reception, both check‑in and check‑out are handled by collecting and returning your key yourself. The key is located in the key box mounted next to the front door of the cabin you have booked.

The code for the key box will be sent to you 10 days before your stay.

Arrival
You may access your cabin from 4 PM at the earliest on the day of arrival. Enter the code and press the checkbox button on the key box located next to the cabin’s front door; the box will open and you will be able to retrieve the key.

Please note that arrivals after 8 PM mean that we cannot guarantee assistance if you have any questions.

Departure
The cottage is available for your use until 11 AM on the day of departure. A late check‑out may be possible, but it must be approved and confirmed by Ullstorps Stugor in advance.
When leaving the cottage, follow the same procedure as upon arrival: open the key box, hang the key back inside, and close the lid.
Any rented bed linen or towels should be placed in a pile on the floor inside the cottage.
Please do not turn off the radiators, the refrigerator, or unplug any cables when you leave the cottage.

What´s included in the cottage?
There is always toilet paper available upon arrival for immediate needs, but it is not included for the duration of your stay. We are currently reviewing what we may be able to include for our guests in the future, but for now you will need to bring everything you require for your stay yourself.

Bed linen and Towel
It is possible to bring your own linen and towel. Bed linen and Towel is not included in the nightly rate, but you may order bed linen and towel for your stay. Please note that this must be booked in advance, and we can only accommodate on‑site requests for bed linen subject to availability. Each bed is equipped with a duvet and pillow.

Do you need bed linen when sleeping?
Yes, you must use bed linen in the beds when staying with us. We also allow sleeping in a sleeping bag, but in that case you must still use a sheet and a pillowcase for the pillow.

Is final cleaning included?
No, final cleaning is normally not included in your booking. However, you can order final cleaning for an additional fee if you prefer not to do it yourself.

What does fial cleaning cost?
We aim to keep the cost of final cleaning as low as possible, and the amount depends on which cottage the booking refers to. You can see the price for final cleaning as an optional add‑on during the booking process. Do I need to wash the dishes and tidy up even if I’ve ordered final cleaning?
Yes, you do. Final cleaning covers wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping the floors. You must always sort your waste, leave the cottage in the same general order as upon arrival, and wash, dry, and put away all dishes.

How do I pay?
Payment is made at the time of booking. Any optional extras — such as final cleaning or bed linen — are invoiced separately if they were not paid for during the booking process.

Parking
Free and private parking space is available at each cottage. The parking for the 19 sqm cottages (Backstugorna 1-4) is located where the area map sign is located at the entrance to the Ullstorps Stugor area. Those cottages are located up a hill about 20-50 m from the parking lot. It is not possible to drive all the way to the 19 sqm cottages/Backstugorna 1-4, but there is a tow truck to load your things on.

Wifi
Wifi is available in all cottages and is free. The code is provided in the arrival and departure instruction email.

May I use the wood-burning stove in my cottage?
Absolutely, you may. If you are unsure how to use the stove, you can ask us at Ullstorps Stugor for instructions — firewood is available for purchase on site. Please note that you should not use the stove if you are uncertain about how it works. You must also not use the stove on the day of departure, so that we can inspect it without any remaining embers. Only firewood may be used in the stoves; rubbish or other materials are not allowed. You are welcome to bring your own dry firewood if you prefer not to buy it on site.

Is there a laundry room?
Yes, there is a washing machine in the service building up by the Backstugorna, located inside the ladies’ restroom, and all guests are welcome to use it. In Villa Anna, there is a private washing machine and tumble dryer reserved for guests staying there. Please bring your own detergent or use any detergent left behind by previous guests.

Is there a map of the area?
Absolutely. There is a map displayed on a sign at the entrance to the area, and you can also find a map on our website.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the cottages.
